Here at Go Train, we know that it’s never too late to brush up on your skills or even learn new ones. You’ll be able to learn at a time and place to suit you, with tutor support every step of the way – whether it’s by phone and email from home, or face to face in a centre.

What courses do we offer?

Maths and English - An English qualification could be right for you if you want to brush up on your grammar, spelling, reading and writing. A maths qualification can improve your number skills and help you get to grips with things like money, measurements, percentages, addition and subtraction.

Computers and IT - If you'd like to be more confident using a computer to do things like create presentations, use spreadsheets or get online, then an IT course or qualification could be right for you. IT qualifications can prove to employers that you've reached a recognised standard with your computer skills.

Business and Management - If you want to improve your skills in the workplace, we have a range of courses and qualifications that could help.

Job Seeking Skills - If you're new to job seeking, or are returning to work after a long break, then our introductory Job Seeking and Employability qualification can help you gain the essential skills you need to get into work, and feel confident in interviews. You'll learn to understand what employers are looking for, and what to expect from employment.

Life Skills - Our entry-level qualification in Life Skills will develop your personal skills for working, learning and living, and provide a useful base for further learning. Our Life Skills courses help with the everyday skills needed to organise your home and family, like parenting skills or healthy eating. Or, if you want to get to grips with the world of work, you can also learn about staying in work and planning your time.

Location

Learndirect courses are available in our centres in Bromley, Canterbury, Chatham, Dartford, Gravesend, Grays, Maidstone, Sittingbourne, Southend and Tunbridge Wells.

Cost

All Learndirect courses are FREE for learners on JSA or ESA. Other benefits may be eligible. You'll need to be 19 or over. For further information please complete the form on the right.
