GO TRAIN AND THE RESTAURANT GROUP WORK TOGETHER TO SUPPORT STAFF DURING LOCKDOWN

Go Train is delivering on line courses through virtual learning to support over 13,000 staff from The Restaurant Group across the country. The Restaurant Group is a significant player in the UK casual dining market with restaurants and pub restaurants including Wagamama, Frankie & Benny’s, Airport Concessions and Brunning & Price.

While staff are affected by lockdown, Go Train is supporting them with training in areas including Personal Health, Mental Health & Well-Being, English & Maths, Customer Service, IT & Digital Skills and Computerised Accounting & Payroll (using Sage).

Steven Wines, Chief Executive of Go Train said, “As well as being able to use the time in lockdown productively to learn new skills to help them in their careers, staff at The Restaurant Group are also able to stay in touch with each other and interact in Go Train’s virtual classroom, helping to reduce any feelings of isolation.
