To deliver and create a tenancy and estate management service achieves compliance with the terms of tenancy and lease conditions. Housing Officers will need to build and maintain effective relationships with residents and increase their satisfaction of quality of life. The role involves supporting tenants and encouraging them to take part in tenancy groups that help shape the community in which they live. Housing officers are responsible for a particular estate or group of properties. 


• Responsible for the day to day management of estates/ properties, leases and licences
• Manage the rehousing process including working with the void works team in property services
• Setting rents and dealing with payments and arrears
• Arranging for legal action to be taken where necessary
• Attending tenants meetings
