Job Description

Our friendly, forward thinking school is looking to appoint dynamic, committed and inspiring teaching assistants to work with children with SEN including ASD ranging from Early Years to Secondary, and to join our caring and dedicated staff team. You will need to be a strong team player with a positive attitude.

Located in the Medway area of Kent within a short commute from Dartford, Gravesend, or Sittingbourne, our client is a happy school with a talented staff team where every child really does matter. The school has an excellent relationship with the local community and the parents are extremely engaged in supporting the children and the school. The Post:

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic teaching assistants and their key responsibilities are:
To implement agreed work programmes with individuals or groups, in or out of the classroom.
To occasionally supervise whole classes
To provide pupil, teacher, curriculum and school support.
To lead intervention clubs with students.

Training Before Interview

Please note that you will need to complete the training package below before being offered an interview. Training is funded and offered at no charge to the individual.

Training is either delivered in our COVID safe, training centre, in small groups where we have social distancing and protective measures following Department of Education guidance or it can be delivered online in the safety of your own home in a virtual class group led by one of our tutors- the choice is yours. When you complete the course you will be interviewed for the role.
